Nutrition and dietetics

This service provides nutrition advice and support for patients with a variety of complex medical conditions. Services include:

• assessment, diagnosis, intervention, monitoring and evaluation
• advice and support that is tailored to each person's needs
• inpatient support
• outpatient clinics
• limited community visits

Primary health sector services

In addition to hospital-based services there are also community nutrition services run by the Nelson Bays Primary Health Service and the Kimi Hauora Primary Health Service.
