Neurology is a medical specialty dealing with disorders of the nervous system (brain, spinal cord and nerves). A specialist in this field is a Neurologist.  Neurological conditions include (but not limited to):

Neurology services are available at Nelson Hospital with visiting clinics held at Wairau once every two months.

Additional sub specialty services for movement disorders are held quarterly in both sites.
