Our district nursing service delivers specialist nursing care in the community. We provide care both in the home and in a clinic setting, depending on a patient’s needs.

Nursing and patient education is provided for:

  • specialist wound care
  • stoma management
  • continence management
  • intravenous medications administration
  • catheter management
  • palliative care
  • respiratory and oxygen maintenance
  • ACC nursing services
  • complex condition management
  • oncology

You will be referred to the district nursing service before you are discharged from hospital, by your GP or by other healthcare professionals.
