About the Medical Unit

The Medical Unit is an inpatient unit for the treatment of a wide variety of medical illnesses, such as those affecting the lungs, heart, brain and kidneys, that do not require surgery.

Our Medical Unit has 30 beds. There are 20 single rooms, two four bedrooms and one two-bedroom.

How long you are admitted to the Medical Unit will depend on how unwell you are and your progress during your stay.

Generally, patients stay about three days in our unit.
