About Nelson Hospital
Nelson Hospital provides approximately 140 beds for Nelson and Tasman patients.
Wairau Hospital also refers Marlborough patients to Nelson Hospital for specialised services.

The main entrance to Nelson Hospital is on Tipahi Street.
Only those accompanying a patient requiring acute admission may enter via the Waimea Road entrance.

Mobility parking spaces are available outside most main entrances. These parks are clearly marked on the Nelson Hospital map.
There is visitor and staff parking available on the Braemar campus at Nelson Hospital.

The Nelson Hospital shuttle buggy is a free service providing all-weather transport for patients and visitors from car parks to the main hospital entrances.
