Child Development Service

The Child Development Service is a district wide team with therapists based at Nelson Hospital and Marlborough Community Health Hub.

The service provides:

  • support for children to achieve their optimum function and wellbeing
  • therapy, management and information
  • support in the home and community, in partnership with caregivers, for children from birth to 16 years who have developmental or ongoing disability needs.
