People can request official information held by state services and can expect it to be made available unless there is a good reason to withhold it. Nelson Marlborough Health is committed to openness and transparency in the provision of public health and disability support services.  The Official Information Act (OIA) gives New Zealanders the right to access information.

Please note: 

  • This address is only for requests made under the Official Information Act (1982).
  • Due to the COVID-19 response, Nelson Marlborough Health may automatically extend the time it takes to complete OIA requests. This may happen for requests where a decision and proper response cannot reasonably be made within the standard time limit.
