New shirts for our volunteers

Have you spotted the new aqua blue polo shirts our volunteers are wearing?

We love that they make our volunteers recognisable – it marks them as part of our community and acknowledges the important contributions they make.

The shirts were made possible through support from The Care Foundation. The Care Foundation is our top of the south health charity – using donations from the generous people of our region to support initiatives across the healthcare system in Nelson Marlborough.

We have some awesome volunteers helping out across our organisation. They are
just some of the more than 1.2 million volunteers, who each year give millions hours of unpaid labour.

Whiria te tangata, which means weaving people together, is the theme of this year's volunteer week, which starts today (Monday 17 June).
