Celebrate International Nurses Day
International Nurses Day: 12 May 2018
The tireless efforts of nurses all over the world are celebrated every year on May 12, the anniversary of Florence Nightingale’s birth in 1820.
“Nurses A Voice to Lead – Health is a Human right” is the theme for 2018 International Nurses Day.
Nurses are appreciated in many different ways on International Nurses Day (IND). There are activities happening to make this day special for the global community of nurses.
People are encouraged to take time to thank a nurse who has been there for them or their loved ones during days of sickness.
Thank you for all you do, and the difference you make in our communities every day.
