NMDHB values its relationship with the community it serves. There are several ways in which the Board regularly works with the community:

• Feedback from people who have used the services provided
• Donations and bequests which support and enhance the services we provide - these are generally channelled through the Nelson Marlborough Hospitals Charitable Trust
• Contracts and agreements with businesses and providers who supply goods and services to the Board
• Community involvement in the planning and provision of services
