Hospital Chaplains
Chaplains are an integral part of the healthcare team. Members of the chaplaincy team are specifically trained for hospital ministry and visit the wards each day. We are available to staff, patients and their whanau / family.
As chaplains our role is to support a person facing challenging life issues that are having an impact on their sense of well-being.
The Nelson Chaplaincy team is led by the Reverend Debbie Smith, and the Wairau Chaplaincy team is led by the Reverend Kevin Gwynne.
